Summer Camp with SFC and Creative Action

Do you know any kids ages 5-9 who are looking for some fun this summer? Send them to camp with us! Sustainable Food Center is Hiring!
SFC is recruiting energetic, organized, community-minded, and bi-lingual individuals (Spanish fluency required). The positions include year-round Food Access Coordinator (processing SNAP/DDIP transactions at markets), Seasonal Food Access Coordinators (assist with FMNP distribution at markets during summer), and seasonal Community Engagement Coordinators (interact with DDIP clients at markets to invite them into other programs during peak summer and fall seasons). SFC has been selected as one of 10 nonprofits to participate in the ‘Reel Change Film Frenzy’. We have been partnered with Under Oath Productions to create a short film about SFC which will premiere on April 19th! For the Beauty of the Earth
An Earth Day celebration and concert on April 18th at the St. David's Episcopal Church. The community-wide event will begin from 2:30 to 4 p.m. in Sumners Hall with a host of environmental activities, from master gardeners to ecological activities and art, delectable food, and more. Then the 40-voice St. David’s Singers and special guest Austin Haller will present a thrilling concert of gospel music, spirituals, Anglican favorites, and environmentally-themed poetry at 4 p.m. in Bethell Hall. Farmgrass Fest
In Neiderwald, Texas, on May 3 at the Simmons Family Farms. Enjoy bluegrass bands including The Gravy Brothers, Whiskey Shivers, The Lost Pines, Fog & Bone and more.
