This week, we’d like to share a food story from the neighborhood. In 2014, Kealing Middle School students embarked on a Neighborhood Stories Project (NSP) to get to know long-time residents in the Kealing area. The project started because of the Kealing school garden and its wide-reaching impact on uniting the school community. This Saturday make sure to stop by our Sunset Valley market and help us welcome our newest vendor addition, Saigon Le Vendeur. With tasty Vietnamese dishes like banh mi, ramen, and vermicelli, (both meat and vegetarian options) Saigon Le Vendeur is sure to be an awesome addition to the SFC Farmers’ Market at Sunset Valley!

Can’t make it over to Sunset Valley? No worries-our Downtown Saturday market will be in full swing! Texas Coffee Traders and Cake and Spoon both offer delicious ready to eat foods and drinks, and also have been supportive of SFC’s volunteer program over the years our appreciation goes out to them.
