Though the heavy rain put a slight damper on SFC Famers’ Markets this past weekend, our venders are more than ready to set up shop this coming week! It's an exciting time for SFC Farmers’ Market at Sunset Valley! With a new program and a new vendor, it is definitely time to make the Sunset Valley market part of your weekly shopping routine. This Saturday we are excited to welcome Farmshare Austin to the market. Farmshare Austin an educational program that aims to help prepare the next generation of growers for the both the challenges and joys that come with farming and its practices. Get carried away with The Wine & Food Foundation of Texas at the 13th Annual Big Reds & Bubbles on Thursday, November 19th at the Driskill Hotel. One of Austin’s most anticipated wine events of the year, the evening features a dazzling array of some of the world’s finest champagnes, sparkling wines and “big reds.” Over a dozen of Austin’s finest chefs participate, pulling out all culinary stops.
