If you are a community, school or backyard food grower, chances are your garden beds contain compost produced at Organics “By Gosh” East Austin yards, for the company is arguably one of the most generous businesses in town. Every year, Organics “By Gosh” donates hundreds of cubic yards of compost directly to school and community gardens and to Keep Austin Beautiful as well as Spread the Harvest, an SFC program that provides low-income, school and otherwise underserved gardeners with free gardening materials. SFC Farmers’ Market Downtown, Saturday from 9am-1pm:

• Hatch Pepper Cheese:  Swede Farm Dairy will have a limited edition Fire Roasted Hatch Chile Pepper Chevre goat cheese at SFC Farmers' Market Downtown and Sunset Valley.
• SFC Taste Off, 9am-12pm: TRACE will be competing against one of our newest vendors, One Love, in a competition featuring ingredients straight from the market. 

SFC Farmers’ Market at Sunset Valley, Saturday from 9am-1pm:

• Duck Eggs: Looking for a fun twist on your usual breakfast? Look for duck eggs from Yard-to-Market Coop. These eggs are hand-raised from a backyard flock in South Austin.
• Keep Cool with Hibiscus: August temperatures can be brutal, so be prepared! Pick up a cooling and refreshing "Hibiscus Green Tea" from Medicine Woman Herbs. Hibiscus is known for it's cooling affect on the body, helping you beat the summer heat.
