THIS WEEK AT SFC FARMERS' MARKETS

 
SFC Farmers’ Market Downtown, Saturday from 9am-1pm:

  • Duck Eggs: This week Munkebo Farm will have plenty of duck eggs, all cuts of their domesticated wild boar meat, and Piedmontese beef which is genetically lower in fat and cholesterol compared to other types of beef!
  • Kombucha:  Buddha’s Brew will have the following awesome flavors on tap this Saturday: Blueberry, Ginger, Pineapple Super Greens, Grape Lime, Beet Carrot & Strawberry Lemonade!

 
SFC Farmers’ Market at Sunset Valley, Saturday from 9am-1pm:

  • New Vendor: Boulanger Fermentation is one of our newest vendors! Come check out their awesome probiotic products: Sauerkraut “Kare,” Sauerkraut “Beetnik,” and Sauerkraut “Pickle.”
  • Grass-fed Meat: Richardson Farms will have low-temp pasteurized milk from their new dairy barn, pork roast, pork chops, bacon, ground beef, rib-eye steaks, and whole chickens. Purchase your dinner menu for the entire week using their variety of pork, beef, and chicken! Available at both Sunset Valley & Downtown.

Sharing Our Produce with Casa Marianella
In the last 12 months, our SFC Teaching Garden produced about 344 pounds of produce. 60% of it is used in SFC programming like field trips and cooking classes, but there is too much to be used solely by SFC. That's why we are thrilled to make weekly deliveries of produce to Casa Marianella, an organization that has been serving recent refugees and asylum seekers in Austin since 1986. Learn more »
