Amplify Austin for SFC!

Amplify Austin Starts at 6pm!

Amplify Austin, our annual community-wide day of giving, starts at 6pm tonight! Show your local love and give a gift to SFC during Amplify Austin. We need your help to raise a critical $50,000 for our programs that support a healthy and sustainable future for Central Texas.

You can make a huge impact for our community. When you make a gift to SFC during Amplify Austin, you support our school, community, and backyard gardens; SFC Farmers' Markets and farm stands that connect you to our local farmers that preserve our land; food access programs that make healthy, local food more affordable for everyone in Austin; and cooking and nutrition education classes available to all.

Support a brighter, healthier future for Austin and show us your local love tonight!

SFC FARMERS' MARKET HAPPENINGS

SFC Farmers’ Market Downtown, Sat. March 3rd from 9am-1pm:

  • Cabbage Patch: Be sure to visit everyone’s favorite tomato vendor, B5 Farm, this weekend Downtown for cabbages so cute you’ll swear there is a baby waiting to pop out. If big brassicas aren’t your thing, try some delicate microgreens, red amaranth, spicy red radish, arugula, cilantro and broccoli!
  • Get a Brazilian: You know you are near cheesy bread goodness when you smell that toasty parmesan wafting through the air. For those of you who don’t know, stop by Lua Brazil Saturday morning for basil, pizza or original cheese bread. If you are feeling extra brunch-y try a snickerdoodle or chocolate waffle made with the same gluten free batter!

SFC Farmers’ Market at Sunset Valley, Sat. March 3rd from 9am-1pm:

  • Come Party With Us: Come see Party Fowl Farm at market this weekend for some of their rich offerings: duck eggs, mustard and collard greens, radishes, and if popular demand is high, some baby goats!
  • A Foxy Treat: Seeking something sweet to satiate you and yours as Spring springs? Stroopwafel, strawberry muffins, and samoa cookies await you this weekend in the den of Le Renard Patisserie!
