Johnathan, Interpreter at Resource Giveaway Day

How Interpretation Services Benefit Our Community

We are so grateful to the Multicultural Refugee Coalition for connecting us with interpreters for our Spread the Harvest Resource Giveaway Days. Last spring we were able to provide free gardening resources to over 50 new Burmese speakers due to having an interpreter onsite. Jonathan (pictured) has been the Burmese language interpreter for the last two events and has eagerly arrived ready to help Burmese program participants, and even helped shovel compost into bags and buckets! Learn more about how these amazing individuals benefit our community, and what inspired Jonathan to get involved with this project.
