THIS WEEK AT THE SFC FARMERS' MARKETS

SFC Farmers’ Market Downtown, Sat. July 21st from 9am-1pm:

  • Yes Way, Rosé: In our humble opinion, the best way to while away a steaming hot weekend is with a crispy cold glass of Grafter Rosé cider from Texas Keeper Cider. Head to the market this weekend to pick up bottles of this pink beauty, the seasonal Cortland Demi-Sec or the original No 1.
  • A Brief Hiatus: Catch up with our friends at Tecolote Farm for their last weekend at market for a bit. Swoop up the late summer bounty of chives, shishito peppers, eggplant, basil, garlic and all the spicy peppers you can handle. Limited amounts of melons and tomatoes, including super sweet sungolds.

SFC Farmers’ Market at Sunset Valley, Sat. July 21st from 9am-1pm:

  • Sitting Pretty: Have you all seen the beautiful flowers from Corona Violeta Ranch? Make this your new weekly obsession and pick up fresh cut zinnias, celosia, marigolds, cosmos and dahlias arranged into bouquets to brighten your home or bring a smile to that special someone.
  • Don’t Settle for Medi-okra-ty: Hot days bring okra nights, stop by Party Fowl Farm to get oodles of okra, from colorful Alabama Red to plump and tender Cowhorn varieties. Pairs well with fresh pasture-raised chicken! Next swing by Yard to Market Coop for fresh quail eggs, basil, cucumbers, figs and more from backyard gardens all over the city.
