THIS WEEK AT THE SFC FARMERS' MARKETS

SFC Farmers’ Market Downtown, Sat. Aug 25th from 9am-1pm:

  • Dog Days: If you bring your dog to market with you this weekend, you may find yourself led towards Peach Creek Farm’s booth where your pup will most likely get a nibble on their homemade dog treats while you pick out some sausage, pork cutlets or beef. Don’t forget to try the spicy pork chorizo or seasoned breakfast sausage patties!
  • Pfresh Heat: Beba’s Pfresh Salsa manages to capture the season’s freshest taste in every jar of traditional and authentic salsas. Try the hot tomato, loaded with serrano peppers and garlic. For an even bigger kick pick up a jar of the Red Jalapeño, the south of the border style sriracha that goes well on almost everything.

SFC Farmers’ Market at Sunset Valley, Sat. Aug 25th from 9am-1pm:

  • Chill Out: Don’t let this heat knock you down, stay refreshed with an ice cold agua fresca from Mom & Pops! We suggest the cucumber mint lime to stay hydrated, or the pure watermelon to give you a little energy to carry on. Need the strong stuff? Pick up one of their namesake popsicles and stroll the market completely chilled.
  • Local Relief: If you’ve been feeling the sting of allergies lately, check out the 100% local wildflower honey from Round Rock Honey this weekend. Pick up enough for your tea, or pick up a 12lb jug, enough to cure what ails you and make some mead on the side.
