Amplify Austin 2019

You Can Build a Healthy Austin

I am a mother, and a parent leader at Padron Elementary. So when I first heard about the Farm Stand, I got interested because it is a way that we can bring fresh food, not only to our own families, but to the whole community. This is a resource we can share.” - Yazmin

The city of Austin is growing at an astounding rate. Drawn by the promise of opportunity, over 150 newcomers arrive to our city every day.

But did you know that 15% of the people living in Travis County are food insecure, or do not know where their next meal is coming from? And at the same time, less than 1 percent of the food consumed in Austin is locally grown.

That’s why we are asking for your support during Amplify Austin. This annual day of giving is our time to join together and give toward our shared vision of a just future for everyone in Austin.

Please, join us by donating, fundraising, and spreading the word! All gifts made now until March 1st will be amplified by a matching grant from St. David's Foundation.
