THIS WEEKEND AT THE MARKETS  -  SAT, MAR 9, 2019

SFC Farmers’ Market Downtown and at Sunset Valley:

  • Collard’s Call: Come get these southern greens at their finest this weekend! Collards are known throughout the south for their excellent flavor, stemming from their high content of protein, vitamins, and minerals. Grab some this Saturday while they’re sweet from the recent cold snap!
  • Prime Pork Purveyors: Nothing pairs as well with collards as pork! Whether slow cooked with ham hock or sautéed with bacon, these two partners make a meal hearty enough to carry you through ‘til spring. We’ve got all sorts of cuts of pork at market for you this weekend; cured and uncured belly, pan sausage, link sausage, pork chops and more!

For information on which vendors will be at market, what products are in season, and more visit our This Week at the Markets webpage »
