Springing Forward at the Texas Capitol

Spring has sprung at the Texas Capitol! The birds are chirping, the peach trees are blooming, and yours truly (Alex Canepa) is sweating buckets in a necktie. THIS WEEKEND AT THE MARKETS  -  SAT, MAR 30, 2019

SFC Farmers’ Market Downtown and at Sunset Valley:

  • Self-Care Saturday: While you are at market strolling the aisles and picking up fresh produce for the week ahead, make sure to find a little something just for you. Fresh lavender goat’s milk soap, a matcha infused face mask, or a new wild-harvested herbal tincture might be just what you need for a brand new you this spring. Make sure to swing by the deck this weekend to catch Songbird Rising’s performance!
  • What’s the Buzz? Stop by market this weekend to catch up with Tara Chapman of Two Hives Honey and hear her talk about raising backyard bees and what you can do to attract these friendly pollinators to your backyard. Check out some of our sweetest vendors after that for stress relieving CBD honey, soothing beeswax candles, locally made chapsticks and jugs of fresh honey!

For information on which vendors will be at market, what products are in season, and more visit our This Week at the Markets webpage »
