The Texas Legislature, which adjourned last week, delivered multiple wins for local agriculture and the fight against food insecurity. Three of our top priorities passed this session. If signed by the Governor, the following reforms will become law: Farmers' Market Permit Reform, Expanded Cottage Food Laws, and Improvements to SNAP Incentives. Bringing fruit to bear, Austin Orchards will be slinging their peaches and more out of the stall this weekend. Jordan’s Flowers will have fresh cut bouquets for freshening up a room. See you there!
  • Celiacs Rejoice: Gluten Free Yourself Kitchen is back at market after taking a spell, bringing the gluten free loaves and treats we’ve been missing all this while. Farm Camp at Green Gate Farms
