We are excited to announce our new partnership with 3TEN ACL Live and ACL Live to bring delightful tunes to our Downtown market every weekend! This Saturday you can find Choctaw Wildfire playing sweet tunes on the deck at Republic Square. Find out more about upcoming performances at ACL Live by visiting the music tent and picking up a schedule.

SFC Farmers’ Market Downtown and at Sunset Valley
Saturday, August 17th:

  • Big Fig: Fruits and veggies are gobbling up our recent sunshine and it’s the time of year for huge figs! Check out the JBG Organic tent for figs from Austin Vineyards, our newest fruit farmer. Try some Calimyrna figs at home on the grill for a super easy dessert, or as an addition to a fancy cheese board!
  • Turn Up the Heat! It’s pepper season and Tecolote Farm has got you covered on the scoville scale. Sweet Red Gypsy Peppers, New Mexican "Hatch" Chiles, Medium-hot Hungarian Red Peppers, Hot Peppers, Mild Peppers, Wildly Hot Peppers Eggplants, mixed varieties Cucamelons, Basil, Thai Basil, Shiso, Sicilian Oregano, French Thyme, and more herbs to delight and spice up your meals.
  • Team Effort: If this heat has you feeling peckish, round the corner to the food court Downtown and grab a breakfast tacoor pork belly sandwich from Ninja Pig. These folks source pork from our friends at Smith and Smith Farms, veggies and ferments from F-Stop Farm, and gluten free buns from GFY Kitchen. With one sandwich purchase you support the whole market!
