New Vendor Alert!
Respect Your Elderberries will be at Sunset Valley this weekend with a line of Elderberry Syrup featuring Round Rock Honey, as well as drops and gummies that promote wellness. The business was born from neighbors helping neighbors and they plan on continuing this tradition at market. Keep an eye out for the Drift Away drops for kids and adults - a natural nighttime sleep aid featuring catnip, chamomile and oatstraw.
SRSLY Chocolate has a deep seated commitment to ethically sourced cacao beans, ecologically friendly practices, and a constant creative collaboration with Central Texas farmers. Try some Reishi mushroom dark chocolate (featuring HiFi Mycology mushrooms) or a smoky Texas mesquite bar. Find them this and every weekend at the Downtown market.
Summer Veggie Heaven: These high temps can’t keep local vegetables down, so come pick up your bounty this weekend. Downtown we have beautiful striped Armenian cucumbers, award winning squash and a slew of fresh and pickled okra from Hat and Heart Farm. Right next door at Tecolote Farm you’ll find every pepper (at every register of the Scoville scale) for all your sauces, salsas and stuffed pepper dreams.
Down at Sunset Valley make sure to swing by Hairston Creek Farm for crunchy lunchbox peppers, huge sweet red onions, tender summer squash and more. Get in the mood for eggplant as you head down to Johnson’s Backyard Garden for a fire sale on every variety! Get 2 for 1 on eggplant over 2 lbs, be it graffiti striped or easy cooking purple dancer.
