THIS WEEKEND AT THE MARKETS
Highlights, Vendors, Events and more. Downtown and Sunset Valley - Sat, Sept. 28

Good as Gold: Spiraled, diced, sautéed or grilled you cannot miss the golden zucchini this week at B5 Farms. Pick some up along with the crimson okra, Japanese slicing cucumbers and the last bit of summer’s eggplant. Head right next door to Hat and Heart Farm for spicy and sweet peppers, tangy jars of relish, fresh chicken eggs, and naturally lean goat meat.

Pack up the Kids: Our Sunset Valley market is the perfect place to bring the whole family this weekend. First stop is Mom and Pops for your daily Popsicle (made only with fresh fruit and minimal added sweeteners) to keep you cool while shopping for this week’s fresh produce and pastured meats. Drop the kids by the big blue blocks to play while parents sit and enjoy a delicious tamale, or get in line for the free face art provided by Lisa’s Face Painting!
