THIS WEEKEND AT THE MARKETS
Highlights, Vendors, Events and more. Downtown and Sunset Valley - Sat, Oct. 26

Blood Red: Please welcome back New Leaf Agriculture this week to the Downtown market! Farmer Wandaka and crew have been hard at work growing amaranth greens, kale, mustard greens, arugula, peppers, radishes, swiss chard and fresh roselle hibiscus. If you haven’t worked with these tart flower buds before, check out this simple recipe for a deep red mulled roselle juice - perfect for a Halloween punch!

Turkey Time! It’s never too early to start thinking about the most important food holiday of the year: Thanksgiving! Richardson’s Farm has you covered; sign up online or at the market to reserve your bird this year. They will have antibiotic and hormone free broad breasted turkey, and a limited supply of heritage Royal Palm turkeys as well. Find them this weekend at both markets.
