THIS WEEKEND AT THE MARKETS
Highlights, Vendors, Events and more. Downtown and Sunset Valley - Sat, Feb. 22

Sunset Valley: DIY Salads! Priverno Farm is a two person, two acre operation out of Bastrop County and they want you to know that anyone can grow their own food! Stop by to pick up your very own “salad bowl” an 18 inch pot with tender lettuces and salad greens that you can grow, snip, and eat at home. The freshest salads are within reach! While you are there, check out the tender carrots, mixed baby kale, and bunches of fresh mint.

Downtown: From Root to Shoot! Take advantage of all the parts of the beet when you pick up golden beets this weekend at Emadi Acres Farm. Roast the roots with olive oil and salt for a sweet side, pickle the stems for a crunchy topping, and make pesto from the greens to slather on sandwiches and pasta alike. While you are there check out the fresh and tender celery a rare find in Central Texas!
