ONE WEEK TO GET AMPED FOR LOCAL FARMS AND FOOD!

Amplify Austin is just 1 week away! With your generosity, we hope to raise $54,000 for our new and existing programs that work to support our local farmers and improve access to nutritious and affordable food for everyone in Austin.

Even better, your gift to SFC will be amplified through generous matching grants from St. David's Foundation and the Alamo Gives charitable giving program of the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema. You don't want to miss this once a year gift matching opportunity to further the impact of your donation!

Early giving is open now! Make your gift today and invest in our local farmers and food access for everyone in Austin.

THIS WEEKEND AT THE MARKETS
Highlights, Vendors, Events and more. Downtown and Sunset Valley - Sat, Feb. 29

Sunset Valley: Black pearl king oyster mushrooms, lion’s mane, shiitake (last batch!). Head to Sunset Valley this weekend for the last shiitake mushrooms of the season from Goldenwood Mushrooms. Shiitakes are great to flavor broths, mix into a stir fry, and is a key ingredient in the best veggie burger recipes. While you are there check out the black pearl king oyster mushrooms, lion’s mane, and suite of salsa’s from Brenda’s home kitchen.

Downtown: Pretty and Nutritious! Magenta Spreen is the multicolored green you need to pick up this week. Stop by Munkebo Farm for this bright pink and dark green leaf, and then cook it just like spinach in simple sautes, vivid salads, and even your morning smoothie. Also on the table are frozen organic blueberry pies, duck pot pies, vegetable pot pies, Piedmontese beef, and domesticated wild boar.
