THIS WEEKEND AT THE MARKETS
Highlights, Vendors, Events and more. Downtown and Sunset Valley - Sat, Sept 26

Markets are open this weekend! To keep our vendors, staff and customers safe, we request everyone wear a face covering or mask while in the market area. Please visit our website to learn more about our safety measures.

DOWNTOWN: Meet the fine folks from Esperanza Farms this weekend as they begin their foray into the Downtown market. All the lettuces and herbs grown at this farm use aquaponics, with less harmful runoff, less water usage, and more consistently gorgeous heads of lettuce for you all year round. To keep on the light and fresh train stop in at Austin Kefir Microbrewery for a bottle of effervescent, probiotic, non-alcoholic beverage. Try the original flavor to get a sense of the cool and crisp bubbles, and make sure to try the rose for something special.

SUNSET VALLEY: Do you often find yourself shopping hungry at the markets? Never fear, Metcalf BBQ is here! With over 20 years of barbecue experience these native Austinites are onsite slinging brisket, beef sausage, pork ribs and even breakfast tacos. Take your plate to the grassy area just outside of market to have a socially distanced picnic with your family this weekend. On your way out, make sure to peruse the selection of houseplants from Love Succs! With ready to go arrangements of low maintenance cacti and succulents for you to spruce up your home office or drop off to a friend in need.

SFC Farmers' Market match SNAP, WIC and FMNP benefits with Double Up Food Bucks! Visit our website for more information on which vendors will be at market, what products are in season, and more.
