THIS WEEKEND AT THE MARKETS
Highlights, Vendors, Events and more. Downtown and Sunset Valley - Sat, October 24

Markets are open this weekend! To keep our vendors, staff and customers safe, we request everyone wear a face covering or mask while in the market area. Please visit our website to learn more about our safety measures.

Turkey Pre-orders: It’s that time again - order your local, humanely raised, sustainable Thanksgiving turkey now! Richardson’s Farm (Downtown and Sunset Valley) and Belle Vie Farm and Kitchen (Downtown) will be taking preorders online and in person this weekend. Reserve yours soon!

DOWNTOWN: Peeler Farms is the place to pick up several varieties of homemade beef sausages (try the garlic and herb in a soup) and cuts of Texas raised, pastured, grass finished wagyu beef. Head to Animal Farm next for spicy bags of arugula, nutty tasting sunchokes, and a fresh bouquet of local and foraged flowers. To round out your morning pick up a new tincture to heal your soul from Lemon Tree Herbs. A perfect market haul!

SUNSET VALLEY: We cannot get over the beautiful rainbow display at Flameleaf Farm! Deep red kale, fluffy lime-colored mustard greens, speckled golden acorn squash, black and white eggplant - it’s a colorful explosion! Once you have your weekly veg in hand, head to Buddhas Brew Kombucha back at the market and slinging pineapple ginger, fruity blueberry, and tart cranberry booch in refillable glass containers. For a snack just for you on your way out, don’t miss Lua Brazilian Cheese Bread for a crunchy, gooey, melt in your mouth cheese bite.

SFC Farmers' Market match SNAP, WIC and FMNP benefits with Double Up Food Bucks! Visit our website for more information on which vendors will be at market, what products are in season, and more.
