Happy Thanksgiving!

Now more than ever, this Thanksgiving we are reflecting on the things we are grateful for this year. Through all the challenges and times of hardship, we at SFC have been so thankful for all the support our community has given us.

You are the reason why we are able to do our work building a more just and regenerative food system for Central Texas. Your support has helped us make sure healthy, local food will always be accessible for all our neighbors. Thank you for your partnership, and we wish you happy and healthy holiday.

This weekend is small business Saturday! Come to either of the SFC Farmers’ Markets to support local, mom and pop shops this holiday season. From jewelry and skin care to handmade knives and gifts for your pup, you can find it all at the market.

DOWNTOWN: If the holiday season has you looking for something on the sparkly side check out Dream Bijoux this weekend! You’ll find vintage pieces recast into one-of-a-kind earrings, responsibly sourced crystals pendants, and fun art pieces for the bohemian minded folks on your list. Hamsa Heal is branching out and has an all new line of candles for you. Check out the VIP Candles in scents like red berries and clove, pumpkin spice, and a specially created formula just for Austinites.

SUNSET VALLEY: Start the season of giving by picking up some sustainably produced goods at Sunset Valley. Art Bags by Felisa uses reclaimed and repurposed fabric to create fun new garments. From shoulder strap bags to belts, hats, and more these brightly colored textiles are fun and make great gifts. For the #plantparent in your life do not miss Love Succs. These carefully crafted succulent creations fit within every budget and come in vintage, upcycled and handmade containers and hanging baskets.
