Amplify Austin for SFC

Amplify Austin for SFC - Today!

Amplify Austin, our city-wide day of giving starts today at 6pm! We need your help to raise $22,000 to support our local farmers, increase access to healthy, local food, and advance policies that support a healthy community for us all.

The pandemic and recent winter storm revealed just how critical a thriving local food system is to the wellbeing of our community. When grocery store shelves sat bare, we turned to local food to keep our families fed. Now, it's our turn to fight for our local food system, so it can continue its essential role in all our lives: nourishing our community.

Amplify Austin for SFC today, and help us grow a just and regenerative food system that builds a healthier future for us all.

DOWNTOWN: Take care of yourself with some calming and restorative products. Lemon Tree Herbs has adaptogenic and herbal remedies for everything from stress management to seasonal allergies. Stop by for a personalized recommendation. Then head to South Austin People to pick up lavender-infused hand cream, laundry detergent free from dyes and synthetic scents, and all-natural scrubs for a little pampering this weekend.

SUNSET VALLEY: Hurry in to the market so you can get home and have your very own brunch. The first stop is to Le Renard Patisserie for a bag of cheddar muffins, olive oil blueberry cake, scones stuffed with seasonal fruit, and a jar of homemade jam. Pair this with a pound of coffee from Texas Coffee Traders. Try the March Coffee of the Month – fair trade and organic Sidamo! Don’t forget to pick up eggs and bacon from Richardson’s Farm for a breakfast spread you won’t soon forget.

To keep our vendors, staff and customers safe, we request everyone wear a face covering or mask while in the market area. Click here to learn more about our safety measures. SFC Farmers' Market match SNAP, WIC and FMNP benefits with Double Up Food Bucks! Visit our website for more information on which vendors will be at market, what products are in season, and more.
