THIS WEEKEND AT THE MARKETS
Highlights, Vendors, Events and more. Downtown and Sunset Valley - Sat. June 5

We’re back! Find the SFC Farmers’ Market at Sunset Valley in our regular location behind the Toney Burger Center at the end of Bob Horrigan Trail. Find over 30 vendors slinging fresh local produce, pasture raised meats, and homemade food this and every weekend at your favorite neighborhood market. You can also find us Downtown at Republic Square; both markets run Saturday, 9AM 1PM.

Downtown: It’s peach season! With the return of Mary Lightsey of Lightsey Farms we truly enter the best time of the year. Pick up peaches, blackberries, summer squash and tender red potatoes at the red booth near 4th and Guadalupe. When you’ve gotten your stone fruit haul head down to the other end of the market for EDG Coffee, a hot cup to fuel your market run and a bag of beans to get you through the week. Also making an appearance this weekend is Peeler Farms. This ranch operation has some of the tenderest meat in town, housemade sausages, and knowledgeable staff to help you come up with meal ideas everyone can enjoy.

Sunset Valley: Make sure to get to the market early this weekend to secure the best produce in town! Priverno Farm is back with homegrown Italian varieties of heirloom tomatoes, as well as greens and herbs for tasty summer salads. Head down the row to check out Native Roots Salsa for something spicy to dress up your weeknight meals. And don’t forget to stock up on hot and fresh empanadas from Yapa Empanadas to fuel you through your market shopping.

SFC Farmers' Market match SNAP, WIC and FMNP benefits with Double Up Food Bucks! Visit our website for more information on which vendors will be at market, what products are in season, and more.
