THIS WEEKEND AT THE MARKETS
Highlights, Vendors, Events and more. Downtown and Sunset Valley - Sat. July 17

Summertime in Austin calls for a visit to the market! Start your weekend at either Sunset Valley with over 30 vendors offering fresh local produce, pasture-raised meats, and delicious homemade foods. Or, head downtown to Republic Square with 60 plus vendors all with your freshest veggies, fruits, meats, and more. Plus, ready-to-eat scrumptious eats, arts and crafts. Both markets run Saturday, 9 AM - 1 PM.

Downtown: Begin your day but visiting one of our newest market farmers, Westfold Farm. Tay and Sara Burk began their farm in 2015 by raising a small backyard flock of Dorking chickens. Their chickens are raised on organic feed on pasture and Tay and Sarah are passionate bout sustainable and regenerative agriculture. As they say, "A chicken worth eating tastes like a chicken that had a life worth living." And to experience the delicious world of tamales, stop by Tamale Addiction. They offer a variety of meat, sweet and vegan tamales such as chicken mole, pineapple, Mexican brownie, and mushroom. All made with organic corn masa and plenty of love.

Sunset Valley: Start your day at Flintrock Hill Farm. Fred drives in from Kingsbury to join us each week at the market and offers a variety of hydroponic and pesticide-free produce including lettuce, mixed greens, and tomatoes. Plus, chicken and duck eggs too. And don’t forget your favorite animal friends! Chow Hound offers a variety of premium dog food using only quality proteins, fruits and vegetables for their raw dog food, treats, and ice cream.

SFC Farmers' Market match SNAP, WIC and FMNP benefits with Double Up Food Bucks! Visit our website for more information on which vendors will be at market, what products are in season, and more.
